Surfaces should be cleaned with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth and rinsed thoroughly with water. A liner for your tub consists of sheets of pvc plastic or acrylic which are molded to the shape of a tub placed over your existing tub and then glued down to cover it up.

A tub liner is simply an acrylic cover that requires you to trade the deep gloss of a restored porcelain tub for the look and feel of plastic. Liners are new skins for your bathtub shower pan or walls. Acrylic bathtub liners can be cleaned with most nonabrasive bathroom cleaners available in your local grocery store. Acrylic bathtub liner benefits acrylic tubliners and wall systems are an ideal choice when you are looking for a more permanent solution than refinishing and have a little more room in your budget for bathtub liners but not enough budget for a complete remodel.

You can use it to improve the look of your tub by placing the liner over it and then adding an adhesive. Some liners are made of pvc plastic and are not as attractive or durable as acrylic bathtub liners.
